These relationships contribute to our vertical integration and provide valuable access to expertise and insights that, in turn, help our customers gain competitive advantages. We have enduring partnerships in the scientific and academic communities, both locally and across North America. In Saskatoon, we work with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada; the Saskatchewan Research Council; the Saskatchewan Food Processors Association, and the University of Saskatchewan's College of Pharmacy, Department of Horticulture, Crop Development Centre and Protein, Oil and Starch Pilot Plant. We have worked with the Harvard Medical Centre, Tufts, the New England Medical Centre, the US Department of Agriculture, the National Research Council, the University of Guelph, and the University of Western Ontario.

 We belong to many organizations dedicated to increasing the knowledge and understanding of foods, supplements and other natural products, including the Omega-3 Research Institute, the American Oil Chemists Society, the Institute of Food Technologists, the Council for Responsible Nutrition, the Canadian Institute of Food Science and Technology, the American Botanical Council, the Organic Crop Improvement Association and the Phytochemical Society of North America.
