Skin Health

Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) is the omega active responsible for maintaining healthy skin and lowering inflammation seen in certain skin conditions. Borage oil, evening primrose oil and black currant oil are the most potent sources of naturally occurring GLA. Coconut oil is another omega product that supports skin health; acting as a good moisturizer and helping with skin conditions such as dry skin.

GLA:  Taking GLA supplements helps maintain a healthy glow by restoring moisture and smoothness to dry or damaged skin. This omega-6 fatty acid alleviates inflammation and itchiness seen in skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis or itchy skin. It also lowers skin moisture loss experienced as we age.
