Cod Liver Oil

Cod liver oil has been used for hundreds of years as a medicine and tonic to relive a number of ailments. In 1766, hospitals in England were prescribing cod liver oil for rheumatism, and in the 1800s, this oil was commonly used to treat rickets, a bone condition arising from the lack of vitamin D. DHA: Studies show that DHA supports brain development, cognitive function, healthy vision, cardiovascular health and prenatal health while lowering symptoms associated with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and arthritis.
