Saskatoon, Canada – March 20, 2015

Bioriginal received the NSBA Business Builder Award for Export, sponsored by Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership (STEP) on March 19th.

Bioriginal Food & Science Corporation (Bioriginal) was recently recognized for their continued advancement of the global omega industry, winning the North Saskatoon Business Association (NSBA) Business Builder Award for Export at the 18th annual awards dinner on Thursday March 19th, 2015. Since it was founded in 1993, Bioriginal has grown to be a global leader in omega solutions; developing unique, propriety methods and groundbreaking science-based omega innovations utilizing both plant and marine-based sources. “We have seen significant growth in our industry in recent years, and Bioriginal remains a leader in developing market-driven products to help our customers worldwide meet this demand. We are honored to have our efforts and achievements recognized by the NSBA’s respected Business Builder Awards program,” said Joe Vidal, President and CEO of Bioriginal.

Bioriginal has grown from a Saskatchewan-based start-up to a global leader in exporting omega solutions to worldwide markets. In recent years, the company has implemented an aggressive growth strategy, resulting in significant growth in North American and global markets. It was for this significant contribution to the export industry of Saskatchewan that Bioriginal won the NSBA Business Builder Export award.

“As the global market for omegas continues to expand and evolve, Bioriginal is strongly posed to anticipate and meet this demand,” said Joe Vidal. “We have seen remarkable growth over the past 22 years that we have been in business, and we look forward to providing omega solutions to established and emerging global markets for many years to come.”
