Project Coordinator (ERP System Implementation)

Reporting to the Director of Business Process Improvements, the Project Coordinator will facilitate the communication between the technical delivery resources and the key project stakeholders within the organization.  The role will focus on ensuring timely and effective communication of project scope, schedule, budget, decisions, risks and issues.  The Project Coordinator will also help set-up and facilitate a core team and steering committee to ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged regularly.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manages the required tasks and schedule required in order to ensure implementation goals can be met.
  • Provides daily coordination of activities and change management tasks.
  • Coordinates and oversees the various stakeholder registers.
  • Manages the overall project logs and registers.
  • Provides weekly project status reports.
  • Provides information for members of the steering committee and key stakeholders to enable efficient decision making.
  • Monitors and supports the project timeline in relation to various required tasks.
  • Supports project risk management, including identification of risks, communication of risks to key stakeholders and recommendations to mitigate.
  • Coordinates various require project communications with stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A related post-secondary degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years of related experience in project coordination/management, with a preference on experience within ERP system implementations.
  • Strong collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • The ability to influence others is required.
