SolaThin®

Potato Protein Powder

SolaThin® potato protein isolate increases that “full” feeling. Consumers know when they feel full faster, they eat less. The potato is one of the most satisfying, filling foods per calorie-consumed. Made solely from potatoes, SolaThin® delivers a 40% concentration of Pl-2, a protease inhibitor that signals both the brain and the GI tract that the stomach is full. An increased sense of satiety helps curb the appetite-and gives consumers an effective and easy way to manage their weight.*

Protease Inhibitor (Pl-2): Protease Inhibitor fraction heat-stable Pl-2 leads to reduced food intake by modulating CCK (Cholecystokinin) levels. CCK, which is secreted by the small intestine in response to a meal, stimulates secretion of pancreatic trypsinogen. Trypsin inhibits the release of CCK by a negative feedback regulation mechanism via CCK-RP. High CCK levels in the blood lead to a sense of satiety in the brain and GI tract.*
