Inside Sales & Customer Service Coordinator

Our Customer Service Department is currently searching for an Inside Sales/Customer Service Coordinator to join their Saskatoon, SK team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Order Management:
    • Processes purchase orders.
    • Maintains accurate dates of sales orders.
    • Updates salesforce.
  • Handles all incoming calls in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
  • Provides sales support to assigned customer segments, including:
    • Selling products to existing and new customers.
    • Following-up on general inquiries and marketing leads.
    • Customer follow-ups to sales contracts, tradeshows and presentations.
    • Assisting in the preparation of price quotes based upon customer requests.
  • Expands and grows revenue and margin growth for assigned house account(s) within the human nutrition portfolio.
  • Collaborates with the external sales team on sales opportunities.
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve problems; expediting correction or adjustment and following to ensure resolution.
  • Logs all customer issues and concerns into the Company’s NCR and/or Case Management database.
  • Communicates with internal departments to ensure availability of products and delivery times.
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of department databases for sales, customer and product specifications.
  • Schedules regular customer calls to maintain the customer’s rolling sales forecast. Sales forecast accuracy is a critical success factor.
  • Increases education and awareness of Bioriginal products by pro-actively promoting our product portfolio.
  • Ensures personal and team goals are achieved monthly by executing the key performance indicators.
  • Performs various account management activities.
  • Completes special projects and assignments as requested.

Qualifications:

  • A related college degree is preferred.
  • Possesses strong customer service skills, understanding the importance of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Possesses strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Possesses strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond to client inquiries by using existing knowledge, skills and resources.
  • A minimum of 2 years work experience in customer service or sales related positions.
  • An attention to detail and an ability to prioritize, as well as excellent organizational skills is required.
  • Experience within MS Office Suite is required.
  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge with Essential Fatty Acids and the nutritional supplement market is preferred.
