Office Assistant

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Office Assistant is responsible for working with multiple stake holders with the goal of ensuring tasks are completed accurately, while ensuring customer needs are being met.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Supports a culture that is consistent with Bioriginal’s beliefs and values.
  • Follows established department GMP’s, SOP’s and batch record instructions.
  • Creates and completes task lists for Operations and Maintenance.
  • Validates that job packets are complete and confirmed.
  • Performs receiving functions as required.
  • Confirms each task is completed on time.
  • Administers various metrics for the facility.
  • Performs data entry functions.
  • Maintains a safe and sanitary atmosphere, with a high regard for food safety and environmental impacts.
  • Attends various mandatory safety and departmental meetings as required.
  • Communicates in a courteous and positive manner to accomplish duties effectively, working as a team with all involved.
  • Assists other personnel as needed and will perform other duties essential to the department as requested.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, related post-secondary training is an asset.
  • 3-5 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing, farming or agriculture environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Strong customer service focus is required.
  • Attention to detail data is required.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products
